Aimeriods is an Asteriods style game where you must shoot the asteroids which break into smaller chunks which must also be destroyed. Aimeriods has two game themes Reto and and Powerplay which is the traditional Asteroids style game and a more modern theme which features power ups. The graphics and sounds are good but the levels are pretty much the same but with more asteroids to shoot, if you like Asteriods games then you may be interested in this game. Aimeriods costs 80 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here.
Dark Skies: Messer is similar to Oesis Inc’s previous game Dark Skies: Constellations. It is an astronomy education application where you can explore the skies on 110 unique Galaxies, Nebulas, Globular Clusters, and Star Formations. There is a hunting game where you must find the location of the formations. I know next to nothing about astronomy so this is not really my thing, but if you have an interest in it you will maybe find this useful. Dark Skies: Messier costs 240 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here.
Elfland Reloaded vol. 1 is a platform adventure game where you play the part of an Elf who must save the elf village from threatening trolls. The graphics are rather basic and while the screen is scrolling there is quite a bit of flickering which started to hurt my eyes, this has been confirmed with a mate so it is not just me. I will cover this in my full review of the game later next week. Elfland Reloaded vol. 1 costs 240 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here.

Kaiten Patissier is a platform based puzzle game where your character must collect all the items in a maze like level. The twist is that the maze can be rotated in 90 degree angles to allow your character to reach previously unreachable platforms. I enjoyed the game and there is a little Japanese text at the start but the rest is in English. Good graphics and sounds along with good puzzle based gameplay and another nice release by DK Alpha! Kaiten Patissier costs 80 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here.
SLAM: Indie Edition is a cut down version of Blackstorm Games SLAM, an Arkanoid style game where your bat is moveable in a 360 degree circle. I did not play the original so I was pleasantly surprised trying the Indie Edition as this is a quality game! The Indie Edition features 50 levels (full has 100) and has some very impressive 3D graphics and great music and sounds. This is a very well put together game and is easily my pick of the week, try the trial version and if you like it then I would suggest buying the full version instead of the Indie Edition. SLAM: Indie Edition costs 80 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here.
Whipcrack is an original game theme where you control a whip and must crack it at the enemies to destroy them. I found the controls a little tricky as you must crack the whip by pressing the button and using the stick to aim it, it didn’t always seem to work as I wanted for me. It is an interesting game idea and the presentation is done well and has a good tutorial which explains how to play and what everything does. It is well worth trying the trial, you may either love it or hate it. Whipcrack costs 240 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here.
Indie Games that have been updated for either a price change or new version are Karnn Age Lite, Veks and Silence, Bobby Says – Dance with me!, Abronium Party, Astro Taxi, I Heart Shift, Plasma TV Break In, Bennu, Roid Riot, Gallery: Landscapes, Solar, Button Memory, and Battle-X.
