505 Games announced a multiplayer mode for its forthcoming game Naughty Bear. See how you can take the naughtiness to the masses.
The emphasis of the online modes seems to be more of a team work based game. Instead of massive 16 player battles, 505 games have gone along the route of a small party of 4 players in four different modes.
‘Cake Walk’ is a survival style game, think Juggernaut in Halo, with the aim to keep hold of the Golden Cake for as long as possible. The first player to hold it for five minutes is the winner. ‘Golden Oozy’ gives one player a golden Uzi and must survive against the other players that work together to destroy him. The first player to 25 kills is declared the winner. ‘Jelly Wars’ is a kind of capture the flag style game. Players work together to collect and return the jelly to their base while one bear tries to stop them by sabotaging their plans such as setting traps and killing them. Finally, ‘Assault’ is a two versus two team based deathmatch game, everyone should be familiar with the format.
Naughty Bear is released on June 25th in US and EU for the Xbox 360 and PS3. You can find more details on the homepage at http://www.naughtybearthegame.com/. Stay tuned for our full review next Friday!

Naughty Bear is a sandbox-styled world with thirty unique environments and weaponry to unlock through progression. Based on early gameplay footage, the game see players take control of Naughty Bear, using stealth and tricks to lure the inhabitants into situations where they can be executed, similar to games like Manhunt. It features a system that rewards the player for creative acts of violence and debauchery against the inhabitants of the island. While causing mischief, the player is rewarded with “Naughty Points”, as well as being offered certain achievements and trophies. The game also has multiplayer options with games such as Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, and Search and Destroy. Depending on the player’s actions, in-game bears can either be recruited or may tamper with the main objective.
