This week sees 17 new Xbox Indie Games and 9 updates.
Here is this weeks compilation video showing gameplay footage of the new games. There is a slight video pause at the start of the TriLinea ReAct clip, this is an encoding error and not the games fault.
Below are this weeks releases sorted in a rough order on how good they are over three categories. Trial impressions have been wrote for the Geddon it! category games, the rest use the developers descriptions. Please take a look at all the games as something may interest you. Geddon it!
Laser Logic is a puzzle game where the aim is to fill the board with laser beams. On the board are laser blocks which contain a number of grids the block can be used on. So if for example the block shows 2 then you can fill two grid spaces; either one laser that is two grid lengths or two seperate lasers taking one grid each. I hope that makes sense as it may sound a little complicated but once you watch the short in-game tutorial it makes perfect sense. The game can be played in single or versus mode and the game features a puzzle generator which gives endless games to play. It is good to see a new puzzle game that is not a match three style game and at only 80 :MSPoints: this looks to be a great buy if you enjoy puzzle games. TriLinea ReAct is an action puzzle game with a take on the match three genre You can play against the CPU or another player both locally or online in a battle style scenario to match blocks by placing them on the board. Players can also cast spells, summon allies and perform special moves to get the upper hand. Presentation is done very well, everything is very slick. TriLinea ReAct does cost 400 :MSPoints: which is the high end of price on XBLIG, so I do recommend you try before buying. Gyroball – Race across the six faces of the cube – dodging your opponents spheres while trying to cut them off with your own. Compete against your friends on Xbox Live to see who will be the champion. To really test your skills, play in survival mode where the AI are invincible and your challenge is to stay alive as long as possible.
