Fifteen new Xbox Indie Game releases and six updated titles in this weeks Indie Games Round Up.
Eagle eyed readers may have noticed that we have jumped 50 episodes since last week. I chose episode 60 as a very rough number to start the episode numbering format, see last week for why. One of our visitors AzBat360 went back to the start in August 2009 and counted around 110 which is much more accurate so we will be sticking with his count Here is this weeks compilation video featuring most of the new releases, you may want to watch it all 😉
Up next are this weeks releases sorted in a rough order on how good they are over three categories. Trial impressions have been wrote for the Geddon it! category games, the rest use the developers descriptions, though take a look at all the games as something may interest you. Geddon it!
LaserCat is a retro style platform game. You play as LaserCat who is searching for a friend that has been kidnapped by a magic space frog named Wizzord. Your aim is to locate all the keys in Wizzords fortress to unlock your friends prison cell. The game is not as hard as other platformers so it is more accessible for the casual player but don’t let that put you off as there are over 200 rooms filled with hazards including traps and deadly creatures and something a little different… quizzes! Neon Prime is a retro style vertical space shooter with the player fighting their way through waves of enemies and bosses, over five stages to defeat the Neon Prime. Niji – Do you like swimming against the stream? Play Niji, a multiplayer tower swim experience that puts you into the role of Niji the Rainbow Fish. Scale waterfalls, jump from one into the other and perform flips to build up huge combos. Play alone to save your love Masu from the evil thundercloud Arashi and try to set new highscores or compete with up to three friends in three local multiplayer modes.
