E3 2011 hasn’t officially started, but the news is starting to flow. Konami’s press conference has unveiled some great surprises for gamers tonight including the development of HD collections for Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders, both of which are headed to PS3 and Xbox 360.
Due November 2011 the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will including HD versions of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, AND the PSP hit title, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker! Sorry folks, it doesn’t look like Metal Gear Solid (PS1) makes the cut this time – but in all honesty I think I’d prefer to play it the way it is now.
The Zone of the Enders HD collection includes the two PS2 titles in a single package although we won’t be getting our hands on this one until sometime in 2012.
