The PlayStation conference has finally started and an Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is on the screen!
The demo starts out with Nathan Drake moving on the deck of a cruise ship. Once he enters the inner quarters he begins silently eliminating enemies and maneuvering his way to an outside deck of the ship. Ominous music precedes his actions and he goes deeper into the ship. As expected, Uncharted 3’s visuals are insanely beautiful.
Platforming appears to be the same from previous games and Drake can climb up and down walls using ledges, and jump lengthy distances. Gunplay appears to be the same and enemies are coming at Drake from various directions in the ship as water slow fills in. Swimming to safety, Drake shows off his iconic parkour skills to reach new heights. QTEs appear to be a small part of the game once again.
Naughty Dog has stated that this October, US fans can go to Subway to get FULL MULTIPLAYER access to the complete Uncharted 3 Multiplayer package one month prior to release!
Uncharted 3 is presently scheduled to release on November 1, 2011.
