Sony has had a long-time and stable relationship with Sucker Punch Productions, creators of the popular series such as Sly Cooper and inFamous. Today the company has announced that Sucker Punch Productions is now officially a part of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios .
While financial terms have not been disclosed for this deal, we imagine it was a pretty large number to secure this deal. Based on Sucker Punch Productions past titles this deal should prove to be great for Sony’s future. “Sucker Punch Productions is one of the most highly acclaimed development studios in the industry and we have enjoyed a wonderful relationship with the company for over 12 years. We are delighted to officially welcome them to the SCE family,” said Shuhei Yoshida, president, SCE WWS
