This weeks Xbox Indie Game Round Up includes Redd: The Lost Temple, Ninjah and Hacotama.
A quiet week in comparison to the previous weeks with only nine releases instead of close to twenty. This week we have the last game in the Summer Uprising, so now that all the games are available, let us know what your favourite was in the comments.
Below is our compilation video showing gameplay from the weeks releases. Please take a look and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/TheGamergeddon.
Up next are this weeks releases sorted in a rough order on how good they are over three categories. Trial impressions have been wrote for the Geddon it! category games and they are a must try and/or buy. Armehgeddon is a category that has some games that are worth considering at least playing the trial to see if you like them, they are by no means bad. The final category, Armageddon outta here!, contains games that are probably not worth the time unless something sounds interesting to you. Both the Armehgeddon and Armageddon outta here! use the developers game descriptions.
Geddon It!
Redd: The Lost Temple – 240 :MSPoints: – Marketplace – Trailer
[singlepic id=7820 w=320 h=240 float=center]
Redd: The Lost Temple is an action adventure game in which you play the explorer Redd. The World is in danger from an unknown threat and you must explore an underground cave network to find the source. The caves are full of traps, puzzles and of course enemies. The presentation is top notch with some great graphics and good voice acting which works together very well. There are a few minor annoyances with cheap deaths by stumbling near the sides of pits, but these will be addressed in a title update soon. We recently reviewed the full game here and Kyle had nothing but praise for the game, definitely one to check out.
Ninjah – 80 :MSPoints: – Marketplace
[singlepic id=7908 w=320 h=240 float=center]
Ninjah is a puzzle platformer where you must get from the start to the exit as fast as possible, similar to N+. You control a ninja who has two abilities, a rope to reach high places and a jetpack which can be used to hover. The puzzle element comes in the form that certain platforms are a specific colour which your character must match otherwise he dies. Presentation is fairly good with retro style graphics and the controls seem to work well enough. If you are a fan of games in this genre then Ninjah is well worth downloading.
Hacotama – 240 :MSPoints: – Marketplace – Trailer
[singlepic id=7904 w=320 h=240 float=center]
Hacotama is a puzzle game set in a virtual world. The aim of the game is to get balls on to lights found on a series of floating blocks. You can move the balls by standing on them and running to roll them. The presentation is done well and the graphics look very good with shiny balls the reflect the surrounding area. If you enjoy puzzle games then this should be perfect, definitely worth playing the trial version at least.
Armehgeddon
This category has games that are well worth trying if the developers descriptions interest you. The games are by no means bad, but may lack the quality, design, price or something else that keeps it out the top category.

Armageddon outta here!
This category is for games that you may want to avoid on the reasons such as low quality, bugs, bad design, high price or playability. Some games are still playable but the overall opinion is they are probably not worth buying. Developers game descriptions are used.
