The platform game featuring some well known indie game characters releases on Steam today.
Team Indie is a platform puzzle game which merges game mechanics from other indie games into one. You must use the game mechanics provided by each character to get to the end of the level. You switch between each of the available characters on the level and provide a path for your character ‘Marvin the cat’ to reach the exit. For example you have ‘J. Jitters’ from The Great Jitters: Pudding Panic who can create platforms for you to jump on, and ‘CommanderVideo’ from BIT.TRIP Presents… Runner2 who continuously runs along the level and can slide under hazards.

You may not know all the characters, bonus nerd points if you do, but you will know them all by the end of the game. The full list of characters are:

The game contains over 50 levels and 3 boss fights. We spent some time with the game and found it to be enjoyable. There is a good mix of platform and puzzle solving as in the later stages you must decide the right order and timing to use the characters to create a clear route to the end of the level. It is definitely worth a purchase if you enjoy puzzle platform games with a good variety of game mechanics.
