The 2.5D platform game Mara is now available on Steam.
Mara is an artistic 2.5D platformer featuring a young monk’s journey in the concrete jungle. The modern world is awash with materialism, vanity and the overwhelming impulse to excessively consume. You are a boy monk traversing through the world filled with urban dangers trying to find himself. As the boy monk, you will need to get through three levels all set at various times of one day: morning, afternoon and night. Each level offers different challenges and obstacles. The world has many hazards such as sharp spinning saws, dropping spike blocks, and of course those annoying little Selfies.
Mara is inspired by classic Platformers as well as the newer successes of the genre. It provides smooth and enjoyable controls while exploring a beautiful and colorful world built in 2.5D. Nonetheless, this colorful world is also full of challenges and dangers that will leave players feeling accomplished and satisfied.
