Lodestar 1000 is a retro themed Simon style game which supports up to four players by themselves or in co-op play. The presentation is great with lovely drawn retro style graphics with music and sound effects to go with them. The Simon game is expanded on with not only the use of the tradition four colours, represented with the controller buttons, but also the analogue joysticks and D-Pad. It is a nice twist on the idea and although it is basically a Simon game it comes wrapped in style, check it out. Lodestar costs 80 :MSPoints: and more information can be found on the Marketplace here (trailer at end of this post).

Scare Me is a part screensaver, part shock game collection which I guess should have been released before Halloween. The screensaver style scripts are done pretty well and display scary images in time to the music. The shock games could be fun to play on friends and family. There’s quite a bit of content and you can make you own scripts in the full version. It is a pity it was released after Halloween as it could have been OK at a party to scare your guests. Scare Me costs 80 :MSPoints: and more information can be found on the Marketplace here.

Squid Yes! Not So Octopus!, firstly it is a great name for a game! SY!NSO! is a top down view arcade shooter with neon style graphics. You only get one life to score as close as possible to 9 before being overrun by the spawning enemies, basically just run for your life and shoot stuff 🙂 Presentation, graphics, music and sounds are all very well done and it plays great. Well worth checking out! Squid Yes! Not So Octopus! costs 80 :MSPoints: and more information can be found on the Marketplace here (trailer at end of this post).

They Came From The Ground is a volley ball game for up to two players either human or AI. The graphics are nice and colourful but I found the gameplay a bit boring after a couple of minutes and totally lost interest not long after. It may be more fun with another human player but I do not think it will last long. They Came From The Ground costs 80 :MSPoints: and more information can be found on the Marketplace here.

Titles that have been updated for either a software update or price change are Block Fight!, Puzzle DeFusion, Reef Rave, Light’s End and CaveIn – Miner Rescue Team.
