dtp entertainment and Ronimo Games announce Awesomenauts, a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) for XBLA and PSN.

Awesomenauts features Russian monkeys with jetpacks, giant robots and aliens together on a 2D battlefield. It combines classic platform gaming with modern online multiplayer functionality.
“We are thrilled to surprise the world with Awesomenauts at E3, and look forward to announcing further details then. If MOBA games and classic animated series were to have a baby, this would be it!”, says Jasper Koning, co-founder of Ronimo Games. “They don’t make ’em like this anymore!”
Awesomenauts is due for release on XBLA and PSN. It will be shown for the first time at E3 from 7th to 9th of June.
