The Project Aces team has been hard at work on the latest title in the Ace Combat series, Assault Horizon. Today we’d like to take a look at the game and what it has to offer.

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon will be a feature a full campaign single player experience as well as a ‘reinvented’ multiplayer component. We can thank Ace Combat 6 for that as most Xbox LIVE games focused on people flying in circles and using maximum thrust to get in a position to take a shot. Rest assured there will be multiple new modes included in Assault Horizon’ multiplayer and it’s said to have eliminated the problems found in its predecessor. The game’s story has been written by the New York Times best selling and military author Jim DeFelice, who’s known for a multitude of great spy and military-themed books – it seems as though Namco Bandai may be leaving the symbolic story-telling style they’ve used in previous games.
