Lots of details are flowing in from Nintendo’s 3DS Press Conference taking place right now in New York. We even know the price of the much-anticipated handheld now, and we can tell you when it will be available.The Nintendo 3DS will be launching in two colors – Aqua Blue and Cosmo Black. It will include the charging cradle like the Japanese version. At the time of launch, consumers can choose from thirty available launch titles including a mix of 1st party and 3rd party titles. The software included with your purchase will include an activity log, pedometers and Mii Maker. By walking around with your 3DS, you will earn ‘activity coins’ through the pedometer function. Friend codes are still used to play multiplayer although they will no longer be software-specific, making it a much easier and more streamlined process.
The Nintendo 3DS will launch in the USA and Canada on March 27, 2011 and will retail for $249.99. The Europe release date is two days earlier on the 25th, no price has been announced, this will be left to retailers to decide.
