Major Nelson revealed Xbox LIVE Labs, a new series of network tests for Xbox Live users to participate in.
Xbox LIVE Labs is an voluntary test that requires Xbox Live members to run a series of network tests which record data and sends to Microsoft for evaluation. The tests are only available to US residents at the moment but it may be expanded to other countries. The data will help improve the Xbox Live service and in return you will gain three 0 point achievements and a lab coat, brain helmet, and crazy mad scientist hair for your Avatar.
To participate, go to the Community Channel on your Dashboard and choose the Xbox LIVE Labs tab, download and run the program and then wait for the tests to complete.
