All releases are played for the eight minutes allowed in trials and impressions are made from that. Note to developers: we have a backlog of several games to review so there will be a delay for any new reviews until after the New Year. If you still want your new game reviewed we are happy to do so but please expect a delay until we catch up.

Bonk is a breakout style game with a few twists and features not found in the original. One way walls, a nice amount of power ups, bonus levels and more make this a nice alternative to other breakout style games and I enjoyed playing it. Graphics are colourful and work well on the game. It only costs 80 :MSPoints: and is worth checking out. You can find more information here.
Border Wars is a 2D hand drawn side scrolling shooter, you can draw your own ship with a built in graphics program and then use it in the game. It is a decent shooter and the graphics while kind of basic, they are hand drawn after all, all together work well to give a good theme to the game. There are also loads of upgrades to purchase which I liked. Border Wars costs 240 :MSPoints: and is worth checking out, you can find more information here.
Crimson Blues is an action platform puzzle game in which you play a character who must find the exit on each level. You must navigate platforms, build stairways with blocks and use your ability to change between red and blue characters to climb walls and so on. It is an interesting game although I did find the jumping/climbing walls a little tricky if you have to change character quickly. The game costs 80 :MSPoints: and is another worth checking out, you can find more information here and a trailer below.
Dot Error is a Defender style game in which you fly around a side scrolling level shooting unmanned space rockets before they breach the atmosphere. The game has an interesting design with green screen graphics to give it a retro feel. If you are a fan of the original Defender games you should like this. Dot Error costs 80 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here, a trailer can be found below.

Grave Breaker is an arcade survival shooter in which you must defend yourself against the waves on incoming enemies such as Zombies. The action is fast paced and the variety of enemies is good, graphics look really good and goes well with the game. It is a lot of fun in single player and I imagine in two player co-op it would be even better. You have to check this one out! Grave Breaker costs 80 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here, a trailer can be found below.
Herman is a side scrolling 2D action game in which you play the part of Herman who has got a midlife crisis and needs to escape from work. This is a funny game and while the actual gameplay is a little repetitive the humour and just general weirdness keeps you wanting more and keeps you playing. You will either love or hate this game, but do give it a go to find out as I enjoyed it. Herman costs 400 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here.
Leave Home is an abstract shooter that looks absolutely great, from the 8bit style loading screens to the in game graphics style and the accompanying music, it all works perfectly. My only moan is the trail is too short and the level ends after a minute or two into the game, a bit longer instead of having to replay the game would have been nice so you can get a feel for the game. Saying that, you will likely be convinced after playing the trail as its a great little game, check it out! Leave Home costs 240 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here, a trailer can be found below.
Mind Warp is the latest weekly trash from Silver Dollar Games. I have no idea what this game was about as I was already bored before the game loaded, something about starting at a rotating graphic for 30 seconds… I dunno. Save yourself the grief and try one of the other games in this round up. Mind Warp costs 80 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here.

PanopLines is a falling block puzzle game where instead of blocks there are coloured lines which you must match to remove them from the game. I am not a big fan of the line variation of these games but if you want to try something different you cant do much worse than to check this out. PanopLines costs 80 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here.
QbTron 3D is like a 3D version of tetris where instead of falling blocks viewed from the side you look down at them. The block controls are a little tricky at first when rotating them but you soon get the hang of it. The graphics are done well and there are plenty of options to choose from, I liked the game and it is well worth checking out. QbTron 3D costs 80 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here, a trailer can be found below.
Soaring Santa is an arcade game where you play the part of santa who is falling through the air. I couldn’t quite get the point of the game and found it tricky to play as if you go near the sides of the screen something will likely spawn and kill you. I would give this one a miss. Soaring Santa costs 80 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here.
The Flight Before Christmas! is a button matching game, you must deliver the presents through chimneys by matching the button shown on them. There is not much to the game which lead to a rather boring game of press buttons every now and again. It might keeps the kids quiet for a bit but otherwise I would give it a miss. The Flight Before Christmas! costs 80 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here.
Titles that have received a software update or price change are Arkedo Series – 02 SWAP!, Pocoro and Colotristar.
